The article you lot linked deals with issues regarding missing email and does not pertain to the issue I draw - the continued account is not updating (checking for mail) and I cannot edit or delete the connected account or add a new one.
I did however, go through the commodity and check items such every bit blocked/safe senders and storage limits to expect for anything which might exist affecting the connectivity of the "connected account" but could not find anything.
I accept checked once more this morning and am still experiencing the outcome as described.
In the meantime, then that I do receive my post, I have now activated forwarding from the continued business relationship to my outlook.com account.

If I endeavour to edit the connected account, I get "There was a problem loading your options. Delight try again"
If I endeavor to delete the connected account or try to add together a new connected account, I go "There was a problem saving your changes. Delight try again. If the problem continues, contact support."
Take you tried to use a different spider web browser?

I've got the same issue. Two connected accounts. One is working fine. The other is not. Carmine/assuming "Update failed". When I click on the "edit" pick, it begins to load, then states "There was a problem loading your options.". I thought information technology might be tied to something in my Outlook 2013 program. Checked there. It'southward working. I'yard out of ideas.

I also accept the trouble. I'm pretty certain that when I click to update the account, then enter my countersign and click Save, nothing is happening. My continued account is a Gmail account. There is no sign of the sign-in attempt activity from Gmail's "Recent Action" feature. Information technology's as if the Continued Accounts are frozen administratively, and then also any support in this forum is frozen likewise:) ha ha. Just truly, I hope somebody from Microsoft can have a look into this... ...but if it'due south Eugene, there'south gotta be a niggling more than effort or nosotros're doomed.
I should mention that I tried Chrome (version 56.0.2924.87), Internet Explorer (version eleven.0.15055.0), and Edge (40.15055.0.0) - outcome is identical on all of them.

Hi in that location. Start of all I got a system notification email from Microsoft Outlook saying we do not have permission to admission your e-mail accost - my continued account. please update your credentials.
Is this a real email I thought then realised I wasn't getting the amount of emails I should be getting. So signed in to my msn account and chose options and then connected accounts and information technology said update failed -final sync two/four/17 - clicked on update failed which takes you to edit - submitted password every bit requested - clicked save - and nothing happened and only way to leave the page was discard - tried this many times and then tried adding the account to other - as if new and it couldn't access information technology either!!
I checked on here and saw others were having the same issue and can only assume Microsoft have done something - like they did in March with Windows 10 post app and 5 updates to correct it??? Am not getting any error codes - not getting anywhere fifty-fifty except frustrated !! Promise you lot can help.
Did see that someone had prepare forwarding just if it can't become the emails how can information technology frontward them in my case?Await frontward to your reply.
